Welcome to the first step of opening a door!
Help support with me in this year's Alzheimer’s Walk to help people facing Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.
Although Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging, the risk of developing the illness rises with age. Current research from the National Institute on Aging indicates that the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease doubles every five years beyond age 65, with one in two people over 85 affected.
The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin helps people in southern Wisconsin as they face every stage of this disease, a commitment they have maintained for 30 years.
I see lives that could've been changed everyday, if only a little more help would've been there sooner. Promote memory cafes and other useful tools, including early detection, to help your neighbor, your friend, or even your family have a much richer quality of life. Help me reach my goal by making a gift today.
