Walk with me in the Alzheimer’s Walk to help people facing Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.
Although Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging, the risk of developing the illness rises with age. Current research from the National Institute on Aging indicates that the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease doubles every five years beyond age 65, with one in two people over 85 affected.
The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin helps people in Wisconsin as they face every stage of this disease, a commitment they have maintained for 30 years.
I have seen the support the Alliance provides caregivers and those suffering from memory loss. It is an amazing organization filled with caring individuals. It is a privilege to work with an organiztion that does so much good for our community.
Help me reach my goal by making a gift today.
