Welcome to Lynn Thompson's page for the team of "For the Love of Belva and Alice"

Our team "For the Love of Belva and Alice," proudly walks in honor of our mother and aunt, two sisters victimized by one disease. Please support us again this year, as we walk for a cure.
Both Belva and Alice lost the battle to Alzheimer's Disease, as have other members of our family and likely yours too.
Although Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging, the risk of developing the illness rises with age. Current research from the National Institute on Aging indicates that the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease doubles every five years beyond age 65, with one in two people over 85 affected.
The Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin helps people in Wisconsin as they face every stage of this disease, a commitment they have maintained for 25 years. We believe the Alliance does good work in supporting those afflicted, as well as the family members, and care workers. The organization also supports research into better treatment for this disease.
We hope that our team "For the Love of Belva and Alice" will be supported by generous donations for the work of all those dedicated to treatment, prevention, and a cure for Alzheimer's. Please support our team and our family through your donation.
This is the tenth year our family has participated in the Alzheimer's Walk.
To our dear family and friends, we also welcome you to walk with us!
