Sauk Alzheimer's Walk 2018

 Thank you Sauk Walkers!

You Stepped Forward to
Give Hope.

A record turnout in red at the Sauk County Alzheimer’s Walk with more than 250 people in attendance!

The honorary walk chair Karin Kohlman moved the audience with her advice that "it’s so important to not go through this alone, you can’t do it alone." Karin is a healthcare professional and helped both her parents during their journeys with dementia. Karin told the crowd she knows how difficult it is to be a caregiver, and it’s important to look for support.

The event included a commemorative painting by local artist and photographer Nick Anstett. Participants could donate $10 and add their loved one’s name to the artwork. The painting will be on loan at upcoming events and programs throughout the coming year.

Event totals are being calculated and donations are still coming in. You can still support the walk by donating online (click link below).
